Stefanie Thunecke

Stefanie Thunecke, born in 1971, first came into contact with Yoga at the age of 16. Since 2002, she has maintained a regular practice and is convinced of the life-changing power Yoga. At present, she spends several months each year living in India. There she practices yoga, learns Hindi, and deepens her understanding of Indian culture, which has become an integral part of her life. Building on this, she regularly offers journeys to India. Travel has always been a passion of hers, which is why she worked as a flight attendant for nine years and got to know the world. The loss of loved ones led her early on to question the meaning of life. For many years, she was active in a foundation, gaining experience in spiritual end-of-life support as well as in ritual work and group facilitation, and she served for twelve years as the founder’s personal assistant. Stefanie is passionate about healthy nutrition: for many years she has enjoyed cooking vegetarian food. In 2020, her cookbook “Ayurvedisch inspirierte Küche” was published. On many retreats, participants can enjoy this delicious, well-balanced cuisine. With Yoga Comparto, she has created a space where Yoga experiences are shared, so that all can learn from and with one another in freedom and joy.
