Stefanie Thunecke

Stefanie Thunecke, born in 1971, was first introduced to Yoga at the age of 16, when she became enthralled by this ancient Indian practice. She has been practicing Yoga regularly since 2002. The experience of losing loved ones early in her life led her to ask fundamental questions about the meaning of life. On her quest she encountered and learned to value the teachings of Ursa Paul, founder of the "Heilhaus Stiftung" (Healing house foundation), which she became a part of for the past 20 years and working as the founder´s Personal Assistant for 12 years. As part of her work there Stefanie gained extensive experience in working with groups during personal development seminars and workshops as well as receiving on-going training in hospice care and conducting spiritual rituals. One aspect of Yoga, on which Stefanie places great emphasis, is a healthy nutrition. For many years she has been an avid cook using the principles of Ayurvedic
cuisine whose diversity and balance inspires her. Her cookbook „Ayurvedisch inspirierte Küche“ was released in 2020. During her studies of Yoga in India, Stefanie learned about the diversity, complexity and depth of this ancient wisdom. The learned has enriched her life in such a manifold and magical way, that she has founded Yoga Comparto to create the opportunity to share this with other people.
